Travel to eastern Bhutan is a long way on the roads and domestic flights are dependent on the weather condition and available only a few days a week. However, witnessing Festivals in Eastern Bhutan is a beautiful experience as you tour the other Districts of Bhutan like, Paro, Thimphu, Punakha, Wangdue, Trongsa, Bumthang before entering Eastern Bhutan to enjoy the less crowded Festivals.

You will need at least 12 nights Tour in Bhutan in order to witness the Eastern Bhutan Festivals, unless if the Bhutan Domestic Airline is in Operation and you could fly from Paro directly to Yongphula Airport in Trashigang but again depends on the weather which could have you miss the festival if the flight gets cancelled.
