Once the Bhutan Guide Course is complete, the Guides have are assessed in class, and in the field and they must pass this assessment with high grades. If they pass the Bhutan Tourist Guides Test then they are issued a Guides License which are renewable periodically.
If they fail the Guides Test, then they have to redo the entire course and sit for the assessment once again and again if they fail.
Periodically they have to undergo the refresher course.
When a Guide is assigned to our guests, it is not mandatory that our Guests have to keep the same guide till the end of the Tour. In case you do not like your Guide, then we will change the Guide for you.
